└ WHY MERMAIDS CAN'T THROW I have placed a boomarang into a siren's hand after showing her how to use it. She just stood there stupidly not knowing what to do. Then I gave her a throwing star, same effect. Now we allknow these siren's are related to the mermaid race, which leads me to the theory that, living originally in the water, they never learned to throw things because you can't do that while under water! Now, I have seen them use a few magic items, but balk at many more. Therefore,I am forced to conclude that mermaids and sirens are quite stupid, too.
